The Village and its surroundings

La Casa de Lladó is situated just outside  the small and quiet village of Lladó (population 581) in the county of Alt Emporda. It is an enchanting village with an eleventh century Augustinian Monastery and a Romanesque church.

This is a place where you can just relax and take it easy.  There are many things you can do near the house to get to know the surroundings and enjoy the beauty of this region.  You can hike or cycle on the many paths that surround the village with good views of the plains of Emporda down to the Bay of Roses on the one side and the ranges and foothills of the Pyrenees on the other. Or if you prefer, you can cool off in one of the many pools in the river Manol, season allowing. A world of sensations at your fingertips to enjoy during all seasons of the year.
